Rising Tide Car Wash is a premium car wash brand dedicated to the empowerment of people with autism. Our mission is to invite communities to see the potential people with autism have to be elite employees.
You will typically be the first person customers meet and may be stationed as a Greeter at our self-service pay stations. Your goal is to delight customers while assisting them in making a selection from our car wash service menu. Frequent communication is a key part of this role as you will be responsible for explaining our services and educating customers about our social mission, as well as communicating with the rest of the team via two-way radio. People who have had the most success in this role are typically active, love interacting with people, and spending time outdoors.
We will set you up for success with an initial paid training period which can be completed virtually. Success in this role gives you the opportunity to grow with an expanding and award-winning social enterprise, and learn about sales, service, and social entrepreneurship. This is a collaborative workplace culture (we all pitch in - no one is 'above' a task). Cross-training and advancement opportunities are available.
Responsibilities:- Greeting customers at pay lane(s) with our standardized script.
- Explaining services and setting proper expectations, answering questions.
- Educating customers about our mission of employing people with autism.
- Selling wash club memberships.
- Delighting customers with friendly service.
- Using our Point-of-Sale system to ring up transactions (handling cash/cards, opening/closing down pay stations, etc).
- Various operational tasks (applying bug prep product on cars, measuring oversized vehicles, answering store phone, etc).
- Assisting in keeping designated area tidy and participating in site cleaning.
- Maintaining a professional company image at all times.
- This is an active position in an outdoor setting.

This is a flexible part-time or full-time position paid on an hourly basis with tips, sales commission, and the ability to earn overtime. Base pay ranges from $12-$15 per hour based on experience.
