Academics Bristol have a range of fantastic opportunities for Teaching Assistants in the Bath area. These roles will require the individual to support a class in their learning and development alongside the teacher's direction. In some cases, you may need to support students one-to-one or in small groups.
To be considered for a role as a Teaching Assistant, you need to be able to use your own initiative and confidently support students with their learning as well as supporting and doing what's best for their wellbeing. You should be able to think outside the box and adapt to situations when required. Be aware that this role may include behaviour management within the classroom during lessons. A classroom teaching assistant will be required to work as a team with the teacher and other members of staff in order to support the students and grow their development.
