We are recruiting for long term ongoing Class 1 HGV Shunter Drivers to work for our client at East Midlands Gateway. As a Shunter driver, you will ensure yard movements are done correctly and support the smooth running of the operation.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours:

  • 4 on 4 off
  • 6:30am to 6:30pm

The successful Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will:

  • Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
  • Have a valid tacho and DQC card
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Have a positive can-do attitude

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will include:

  • Moving trailers or units around the yard
  • Ensure safety of others in the yard

You will receive:

  • Days - £15.30 per hour
  • OT after 9.6 hours daily - £22.95 per hour
