Our client, a privately owned, multi-site retail group are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their dynamic finance team. In this key role, you will produce accurate management accounts and build strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders across multiple business units. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple business units. Reconcile, analyse, and interpret large data sets, including Sales, cost of sales, margins, stock, debtors, and creditors. Manage stock reconciliations for significant volumes across multiple systems and physical sites. Oversee group stock and intercompany stock movements. Conduct in-depth margin analysis and review profit and loss statements, providing detailed commentary. Perform full balance sheet reconciliations with robust working papers. Assess balance sheet items and make provisions as required. Mentor trainee accountants, helping them understand key processes and systems. Support the Finance Director with ad hoc tasks and strategic projects. Requirements: CIMA/ACCA Qualified or Qualified by Experience (QBE). Proven track record as a Management Accountant, ideally within manufacturing or a large retail group. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
