We are seeking individuals who place residents' wellbeing at the heart of their work. Those who go above and beyond to create a safe, nurturing environment for both residents and colleagues. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming) in line with individual care plans.
  • Support mobility and transfers safely, using appropriate equipment where required.
  • Promote dignity, choice, and independence while respecting residents' rights.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering meaningful relationships with residents.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
  • Encourage engagement in recreational and social activities to enhance residents' wellbeing.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents following health and safety principles and risk assessments.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the wider care team.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in residents' health or wellbeing to senior staff.
Requirements:
  • 6 months UK Care experience
  • Valid Right to Work in the UK
  • CV covering 10 years work history
  • PVG Update required through ASA
  • Registration with the SSSC
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and responsible with a strong work ethic
