We are seeking individuals who place residents' wellbeing at the heart of their work. Those who go above and beyond to create a safe, nurturing environment for both residents and colleagues. Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming) in line with individual care plans.
- Support mobility and transfers safely, using appropriate equipment where required.
- Promote dignity, choice, and independence while respecting residents' rights.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering meaningful relationships with residents.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Encourage engagement in recreational and social activities to enhance residents' wellbeing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents following health and safety principles and risk assessments.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the wider care team.
- Document care provided and report any changes in residents' health or wellbeing to senior staff.
- 6 months UK Care experience
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
- CV covering 10 years work history
- PVG Update required through ASA
- Registration with the SSSC
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and responsible with a strong work ethic
- £13.00ph rising after 12 weeks, paid weekly
- Access to our bespoke online diary system that allows you to take control of your availability.
