CPL Healthcare are looking to recruit a Children’s Residential Deputy Manager for a therapeutic home. We are looking for Deputy Managers who can lead, support, and guide their staff team, while ensuring the company’s values are upheld. If you are passionate about working with young people and making a meaningful difference, we would love to hear from you. We have high aspirations for the children in our care, and our goal is to offer a homely atmosphere where they feel supported and valued. Key Responsibilities: Assist the manager in meeting the goals and objectives outlined in the Statement of Purpose. Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager. Provide support and management to staff, enabling them to meet the needs of the children and young people. Engage in direct work with children and young people as needed. Take responsibility for managing child protection concerns and complaints. Collaborate with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young people. Offer supervision and support to senior staff in accordance with Children’s Home Regulations. Ensure each young person has an allocated key worker. Ensure that all staff are familiar with and adhere to each child’s placement plan. Attend childcare reviews and planning meetings to provide relevant information and contribute to achieving the best outcomes for young people. Act as a positive role model and carry out direct work with young people. Help develop systems to gather feedback from young people regarding the quality of care they receive. Salary: Up to £38,700 per year (dependent on experience and qualifications). Working Hours (shift work): Long days, Early, Late shifts, and Sleeps. Requirements: Candidates must be aged 21 or over. Enhanced DBS check required.
