A lovely family based in Holland Park are looking for an experienced Housekeeper/Cook to help take care of their formally run family home in a beautiful location. You will work alongside another full-time Head Housekeeper / House Manager who has been with the family for 10+ years, also a long-standing Nanny / PA who has been with the family 8+ years. The family have a son at university, a child in boarding school; and the youngest is permanently home who is 11-year-old and is independent and mature. You will share the housekeeping responsibilities and work as part of a team.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Daily Housekeeping (Shared) in a large 7-bedroom house
- Laundry and ironing
- Cooking evening meal (family cooking, following recipes)
- Must be child-friendly and be used to a busy family home (Occasional childcare)
- Taking care of daily deliveries and regularly answering the door
- Running errands
- Key holder
- Point of call for security
- House sitting (must be happy to stay in the main house for insurance reasons whilst house sitting)
- Occasional support within their other UK properties
The ideal candidate for this role will be warm, friendly, discreet, have a high attention to detail, be proactive, a team player, and have formal household experience. This is a lovely role for a candidate who is looking for a long-term role within a supportive and generous family.
Working days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8am - 6.30pm (Live out 9/9.30am - 6.30pm)
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 + gross per annum depending on experience
