About the role:

Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

  • Answering phones and booking appointments
  • Responding to queries via phone, in person, and email
  • Registering new clients
  • Completing insurance forms
  • Dispensing medications
  • Taking payments
  • Providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice

What we\’re looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:

  • Previous Receptionist experience is essential; veterinary experience is a plus!
  • Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
  • An excellent communicator with strong empathy
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
  • A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
