The Part-time Marketing Manager that we're searching for will join us to cover a 12-month maternity role. The role will work across a number of our foster agencies helping to develop digital and content marketing initiatives, brand positioning and promotion. Working within the central Polaris Marketing team, you will work closely with our Senior Marketing Manager to deliver the marketing activities for some of our fostering agencies including all internal and external stakeholder management. Supported by the Head of Foster Parent Marketing, our Senior Marketing Manager and the wider marketing team, you'll create and deliver exciting campaigns, across a number of different channels, designed to attract new Foster Parents to our community. Main Responsibilities of the Role:
- Support the growth of new business through a range of marketing methods and approaches.
- Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to support the digital strategy, through social media campaigns, posts and advertising, online remarketing activity and PPC and Website & SEO.
- Work closely with the wider marketing team to support the overall delivery of the marketing strategy including PR, Design, Content Writers and Digital Specialists.
- Work proactively with regional stakeholders to gather, create and then communicate the positive stories about work across the group.
- Ensure an integrated approach to marketing campaigns for the recruitment and retention of foster carers.
- Work closely alongside other external partners including external email providers and video agencies.
- Support the Marketing Director, Head of Foster Parent Marketing and Senior Marketing Manager in the delivery of business critical projects.
- Complete any reports and updates relevant to the post.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 3 years of marketing experience
- Experience in developing marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Experience in producing campaign performance reports
- Experience of social media advertising to engage with target groups and drive direct response
- Experience in using content management systems to update websites
- Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
- Understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite is desirable but not essential
- Writing, blogging and proofreading ability
- Strong organisational skills and communication skills a must.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Capacity to prioritise and work on multiple projects
- Ability to work independently and flexibly
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive and resourceful with a 'can-do' attitude
