Make a Difference: Join Our Team at mhs homes! An excellent opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our Foyer team as a Concierge. Are you passionate about supporting young people and eager to work for one of Kent's leading housing associations? At mhs homes, we manage over 10,000 homes across Kent, and we're dedicated to transforming lives. The Role

You'll be working part-time shifts, providing essential support and guidance to young people at our Foyer in Medway. Your expertise will help them navigate challenges and prepare for independent living. Here’s a look at the shift patterns available:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide staff cover for a supported housing project, assisting young people with practical solutions to residential issues.
  • Patrol the buildings and grounds, reporting any incidents as appropriate.
  • Complete handovers to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and prepare empty rooms for re-letting.

Weekend Shift Cover:

  • Saturdays: 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm (one hour unpaid break)
  • Sundays: 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm (one hour unpaid break)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people with complex support needs.
  • Knowledge of welfare benefits.
  • Understanding of lone working principles.
  • Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check, with satisfactory references and medical fitness confirmation.
