About the Role: We are recruiting host families to provide accommodation for our Academy players, supporting them as they live away from home. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on their experience and support their development both as young people and athletes.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Provide a homely and friendly environment for our young people
- Support the development of independent living and self-care skills
- Include young people in family life as they feel comfortable
- Provide access to a private bedroom, bathroom, laundry facilities, and communal areas
- Prepare a nutritious evening meal
- Report any welfare concerns to the Safeguarding and Welfare team
- Allow access for regular inspections and visits by the Club during the season
- Follow ongoing requirements outlined in the application process, with guidance provided by the Club
