Join to apply for the Cleaning Operative role at Bellrock Group. We are currently recruiting for the Cleaning Operative based at St John Ambulance - Wigan.
Pay rate: £39,331.20 Per Annum
Working Patterns: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6am-8am
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintain an allocated building or area within a building to a high cleaning standard, ensuring customer satisfaction as per contract specifications.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated collection points.
- Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops.
- Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
- Suction clean carpeted areas and spot clean carpets.
- Use electrically powered scrubbing/polishing machines to burnish, scrub, polish, and spray clean floors (after proper training).
- Dust, damp wipe, wash, or polish furniture, ledges, windowsills, and external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves, and fitments.
- Replenish consumables like soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels as needed.
- Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, and drinking fountains.
- Use chemical agents as directed, following training.
- Perform wall washing or inside window cleaning up to a height of body plus arm extension during periodic cleaning.
- Carry out other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.
- Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines.
- Perform any other duties as required by management.
