We are looking for a Warehouse/Yard Operative to join us at PDM Glasgow. PDM is Scotland's leading supplier of Civils, Above Ground, and Multi-Utilities products. Operating across 10 branches in Scotland, we pride ourselves on our technical, knowledgeable, and loyal staff who are based at all our depots, providing technical assistance and offering the best advice and solutions to our customers. We rely on our Warehouse/Yard Operatives to maintain the yard, serve our customers, and provide all they need for their projects. Working in one of our branches, you’ll be part of a team committed to excellent customer service and completing tasks efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading branch deliveries.
- Ensuring all incoming stock is accurately accounted for, and reporting missing or low stock levels to management.
- Keeping the warehouse tidy and ensuring stock is stored in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Maintaining security to prevent theft of stock.
We value individuality and provide extensive training and tools to help you succeed as a Warehouse/Yard Operative. A forklift licence is beneficial but not essential.
