The Head of Engagement and Church Relationships is a strategic leadership role responsible for advancing the vision of Safe Families and Home for Good within Scotland and Northern Ireland. This role involves inspiring partnerships with churches and church networks, overseeing the quality of relationships with local churches, and engaging with individuals, couples, and households responding to our call to action in the region.
You and the Team Leaders you manage will oversee relationships with churches and supporters, ensuring your teams are empowered to succeed. The role requires collaborative leadership, strategic vision, and attention to detail. You will also contribute to the national development of the organization, working with peers across the UK and participating in the national leadership team responsible for strategy and organizational objectives.
This position requires extensive experience in managing people and projects, along with a deep passion for the church's value.
- Contract Type: Permanent, subject to ongoing partnership funding.
- Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week (full-time).
- Location: To be discussed at interview. The role is based in Scotland or Northern Ireland with a hybrid working model, including some travel within the region.
- Salary: £35,565 – £38,565, dependent on skills and experience.
- Holiday Entitlement: 36 days annual leave (including bank holidays and Christmas closure), with options to purchase additional leave and accrue extra days with length of service.
