We are hiring a social value global service leader to bring industry leading subject matter expertise and lead a service line across our global hubs. This is an exciting opportunity to scale an established and fast-growing social value service line across a global business.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading work winning for the service line, collaborating with hub, market, sector and account leaders across the business.
- Enhancing existing service lines and developing new services in response to client needs, market insights, and new and emerging market risks and opportunities.
- Establishing, cultivating and maintaining a strong collaborative network, developing partnerships with key senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing technical leadership and thought leadership for our business and clients, sharing knowledge and insights to drive added value.
- Leading the strategy development and business plans for the service line.
- Achieving operational excellence, delivering the required commercial outcomes and holding accountability for the performance of a portfolio of commissions and/or service lines.
- Building capability and capacity across the business in response to service growth and future skills needs.
- Supporting the personal and professional development of social value practitioners across the business, leading a high performing team and championing career development so everyone can fulfil their potential.
You’ll need to have:
- Evidence of technical industry leadership on social value, and in-depth knowledge on the application of social value within the built environment and infrastructure.
- Experience in work winning and a strong understanding of commercial performance.
- Ability to develop a specialist vision, mobilising and leading all aspects of service delivery.
- Experience of strategic leadership in all components of project delivery, including policy, strategy, client environment and project deliverables.
- Line management and professional leadership experience, with the ability to lead a team of specialist experts across a global business and within a matrix managed organisation.
- Experience presenting at the C-Suite level, with demonstrated ability to interact with and influence leadership as a peer and operate as an integral member of a cross-functional team collaborating in a complex organisation.
- Ability to manage multiple perspectives while working towards a coordinated solution, and comfort navigating ambiguous situations with thoughtfulness and pragmatism.
- Ability to pivot between big-picture strategy and detail orientation as needed, and highly analytical with a capability to translate complex data into actionable insights and solutions.
- Excellent problem solving, communication, presentation and project management skills.
