Time Requirement: Flexible to suit you, we are looking for help particularly during these times; Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays 10.30am to 1.30pm and 3.30pm to 6.00pm and Sundays 4.00pm to 6.00pm

Age Requirements: From 16 years old plus
Role Summary: We are looking for volunteers to assist our kitchen staff in general kitchen tasks and in delivering meals and refreshments to our patients. This role requires someone with good communication and empathy skills.
Required Skills
- To deliver meals and refreshments to our patients
- To set up trays and push the trolley to the inpatient Unit
- To provide a warm, friendly, compassionate and sensitive service
- Good communication skills to be able to communicate to patients, families and staff in a respectful and courteous manner
Expectations
- To wear uniform and ID badge whilst undertaking your volunteering at all times
- To adhere to Teesside Hospice policies and procedures
- To work harmoniously with colleagues and other volunteers
- To inform us with advance notice if you are unable to attend the agreed shift
- To maintain confidentiality
- To attend any training provided by the hospice in order to support the role
- To complete online mandatory training to help keep the hospice safe and compliant with CQC requirements
