We are looking for an individual who can use their working hours to maximum efficiency. It is crucial to uphold a meticulous cleaning routine throughout the premises to the highest standards. This involves maintaining cleaning equipment and promptly reporting any issues to the administrative team. Key aspects include task prioritisation and showcasing the capability to work autonomously. Collaborating with administrative staff to ensure timely replenishment of cleaning supplies is equally important.
Our Turning Point Service based in Lockerbie supports adults with Learning Disabilities. The support we provide is always person-centred, involving people who know the person well, including family and friends, other health and social work professionals, advocacy services, and our own staff members.

As a Cleaner, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives, e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health, and wellbeing.
Please note that IT skills are required for all our vacancies. Where applicable, successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of the start date. We value lived experience.
