Locum Commercial Property and Regeneration Lawyer – Remote Working – Up to £65 per hour (umbrella) – 6+ months

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a reputable Local Authority who are seeking an experienced Locum Commercial Property and Regeneration Solicitor to advise on a variety of Commercial Property/Regeneration matters within the Council.

Role Overview:

Position: Locum Commercial Property and Regeneration Lawyer

Location: Remote working

Contract Length: Initial 6 months with the possibility for extension

Rate: Up to £65 per hour (umbrella)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deal with commercial property and regeneration matters for the Council, including transactions of strategic importance and advise the Council or its companies as appropriate
• Undertake complex reports on title and relevant searches across development schemes and project proposals
• Advise on and undertake property work, including the negotiation and drafting of sale agreements, development obligations, transfers, easements, and utility agreements
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver excellent services

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor
• Public Sector work is essential
• Ability to work independently and provide expert legal advice
