Would you like to be part of an established and expanding service organisation based in Manchester? Due to growth, they are looking to speak with individuals seeking a career in accountancy and finance.
They are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career and gain exposure in the finance and accountancy field.
The responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Credit control over multiple ledgers
- Cash flow analysis
- Ad hoc reporting
- Month-end accounting support to the Management Accountant and Financial Controller
- Providing detailed analysis with commentary to show profitability
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Developing methods to understand the figures more efficiently
What are we looking for?
- A degree in Accountancy and Finance is preferred, though Maths or Economics are also suitable
- Strong analytical and numerical problem-solving skills
- A high level of work ethic
