Job Description

Based at Riverside Plant/Composting Site or Baldovie Plant, you will work full time, 37 hours per week, between 07:30 to 15:30 (Monday to Thursday) and 07:30 to 15:00 (Friday). For queries regarding these vacancies, please contact Martin Jeffers by email.

Requirements

You will have a CITB (or equivalent) certificate for wheeled shovel, telescopic handler, forklift, and material handler/excavator. A Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is also required.

Responsibilities

You will assist with waste recycling, processing, and recovery operations within the Waste Management department at Riverside, Baldovie, and Marchbanks sites, including LGV driving between sites and facilities as needed.

The Individual

You should have experience operating a wheeled shovel, general labouring, and LGV driving. Experience with recycling operations equipment, customer care, manual handling, maintaining site tidiness, and ensuring safety and traffic management are important. IT literacy, with the ability to operate weighing software and produce reports, is required. Flexibility to operate at different sites, willingness to undertake further training, and availability to work weekends are essential. A current LGV Licence (Category C) is necessary.
