Job Description

Based at Riverside Plant/Composting Site or Baldovie Plant, you will work full time, 37 hours per week, between 07:30 to 15:30 (Monday to Thursday) and 07:30 to 15:00 (Friday). For inquiries regarding these vacancies, please contact Martin Jeffers by email.

Requirements

You must hold a CITB (or equivalent) certificate for wheeled shovel, telescopic handler, forklift, and material handler/excavator. Additionally, a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is required.

Responsibilities

You will assist with waste recycling, processing, and recovery operations within the Waste Management department at Riverside, Baldovie, and Marchbanks sites. This includes LGV driving requirements between all related sites and facilities as needed.

The Individual

The ideal candidate will have experience operating a wheeled shovel, general labouring, and LGV driving. Experience with recycling equipment, customer care, manual handling, maintaining site tidiness, safety, and traffic management is essential. You should be IT literate, capable of operating weighing equipment software, and producing reports. Willingness to undertake further training, flexibility to operate at different sites, and the ability to work at weekends are required. A current LGV Licence (Category C) is necessary.
