Warehouse Operative (Nights)

Warehouse Operative (Nights) role at Menzies Distribution Solutions Ltd in Corby. The role provides accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the depot warehouse goods, while upholding the highest standards of health and safety. The role may include other duties to maintain efficient warehouse operations. A Reach Truck Licence is preferred.

• Hours: 18:00 – 06:00
• 44 hours Per Week
• Full-time, permanent
• Monthly Pay
• Annual Leave: 28 Days Inclusive of Bank Holidays

Responsibilities

• Co-operate fully with the site\’s safety requirements
• Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into the warehouse. Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork
• Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork. Both full pallet and manual case/break picked from the racking and ground locations
• Load trailers with customer goods in a timely manner
• Put away customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking
• Manual handling of products
• Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completed
• Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks
• Stock integrity and quality checks
• Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal

About You

• Good Communication & team working skills
• Experience operating within a warehouse environment
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• A professional manner
• MHE – FLT/Articulated/Counterbalance/Bendi/Flexi/PPT licenses preferable
