Quantity Surveyor/Estimator Opportunity – Central Scotland First People Solutions is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Estimator/Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading construction company based in Central Scotland. Role Overview: Position: Estimator/Quantity Surveyor Location: Central Scotland, StirlingKey Responsibilities: Manage tender processes from initial review to final submission. Conduct take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities. Liaise with the sub-contractor supply chain to ensure competitive pricing. Analyze and assess quotations for compliance and value. Work closely with the Development & Bid Manager to ensure profitability. Present bids to Senior Management for review.Required Experience & Skills: Proven Estimating experience within a Main Contractor or Sub-Contractor background. Strong knowledge of the Scottish construction market. Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines. Experience with Conquest estimating software or similar is an advantage.
