In a Nutshell

We are actively seeking a Linen Porter/ Laundry Porter here at Pennyhill Park to work flexible hours during our busy periods. You will join the Housekeeping team and ensure the hotel maintains the required cleanliness standards. Your responsibilities include assisting with the movement, stock, and delivery of linen and amenities, as well as supporting room attendants in moving furniture, beds, and cots.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning bedrooms and public areas, including deep cleaning duties, as required.
• Moving heavy linen and towels around the hotel.
• Counting and recording dirty/reject linen.
• Assisting Room Attendants and the Daily Supervisor with moving beds, twinning rooms, and stripping beds.
• Maintaining cleanliness of corridors to the required standard.
• Ensuring sufficient supplies of laundry and amenities in the housekeeping cupboards.
• Keeping linen/store cupboards clean, tidy, and securely closed when not in use.
• Handling lost property following the proper procedures.
• Complying with Health and Safety, Manual Handling, and COSHH regulations at all times.
