Description

We have a fantastic opportunity in Peterborough for a Polisher/ Oven – Rectifier – Backshift, you will be working within our busy Bodyshop team. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.

Big Motoring World Group is an expanding car supermarket group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a Polisher/Oven – Rectifier at our National Preparation Site. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside experienced technicians to help and support.

Responsibilities

• Polishing of new painted panels.
• Rectifying any paint defects
• Ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest quality standards
• Ensuring work areas and tools are kept tidy and in good working order
• Maintain high standards of house-keeping

What we are looking for!

• You must have previous experience working as a Polisher/Rectifier within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
• Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
• You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle techniques.
• Time management and problem solving skills
• Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
• Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
• Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
• Ability to work as part of a Team
• Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
• A full, valid UK driving licence is required
