Opportunity: Head of Talent Acquisition

Join a leading law firm as the Head of Talent Acquisition, responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract and retain top legal and support professionals. Play a key role in shaping the firm\’s culture, enhancing employee engagement, and maintaining its status as an outstanding workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and Support the Talent Acquisition Team: Set direction and priorities; coach, develop, and mentor team members.
  2. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term talent acquisition strategies.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leadership and division heads to understand hiring needs and provide strategic advice.
  4. Recruitment Process Management: Oversee sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  5. Employer Branding: Promote the firm\’s brand through social media, job fairs, and industry events.
  6. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Lead initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace, collaborating with the Chair of the People and Culture Committee.
  7. Data Analysis: Use recruitment metrics to monitor effectiveness and generate reports.
  8. Budget Management: Manage recruitment budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and reporting expenses.
  9. Innovation: Implement new recruitment technologies and practices, staying informed of industry trends.
  10. Leading Senior Recruitment Assignments: Develop strategies for executive roles, conduct in-depth assessments, and evaluate leadership potential.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • CIPD qualification or equivalent
  • Senior experience in Talent Acquisition, with strategic and operational expertise
  • Experience with recruitment data, applicant tracking systems, and sourcing tools
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR policies
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to produce and present reports to senior leadership
  • Analytical skills to interpret HR metrics and data
