Production Assembly Operative

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools. As a Production Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling components and ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. Duties * Assemble products using hand tools and power tools according to specifications and drawings. * Perform quality checks on assembled items to ensure compliance with company standards. * Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency. * Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. * Assist in the movement of materials within the warehouse as needed. * Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly. Requirements * Proven experience in a manufacturing / assembly environment is preferred. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. * Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. * Good physical stamina, as the role may require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
