A well-established and forward-thinking business based in Oldbury is seeking a highly capable and commercially astute Management Accountant (Finance Manager) to join its leadership team.

This is a pivotal role, offering hybrid working and the opportunity to influence key strategic decisions, lead a small team, and provide critical financial insight to drive performance and growth.

The Role:

As a Management Accountant, you'll take full ownership of the monthly reporting cycle, lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. You'll also manage and mentor two assistant accountants, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day finance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver timely, accurate monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis

• Provide strategic financial commentary and insights to the board and senior stakeholders

• Lead the annual budget and rolling forecast processes

• Support strategic planning and decision-making with data-driven financial modelling

• Manage, mentor, and develop two Assistant Accountants

• Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting, and controls

About You:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE)

• Demonstrated experience in a senior finance role with management accounting responsibilities

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders

• Proven leadership experience with a collaborative and hands-on approach

• Advanced Excel and strong financial systems knowledge
