Headley have a new vacancy with our client in Bradford, seeking an experienced Document Controller. The company are an impressive business; a well established manufacturer, supplying the construction sector and have a large scale, long term project requiring administration support.
The document controller will be the lead person managing all necessary documentation relevant to the project, relating to manufacturing, client support, technical and compliance information. We are seeking an experienced document controller, or a senior administrator with significant document control experience.
Key Duties of the role include:
- Creation and management of project documentation
- Storing, filing and sorting documents, ensuring appropriate access
- Managing and noting amendments and sharing revisions with interested parties
- Maintaining accurate data, information logs and paper trails
- Communicating with all stakeholders to ensure accurate data and documents in place as required
- Maintaining compliance
Required Experience:
- Document control experience in a similar industry – manufacturing / construction / engineering
- Experience with document control systems
- Strong general administrative skills and experience
- Excellent IT skills
- Able to work independently
- Confident communicator
