The role of Finance Business Partner is responsible for providing strategic commercial support to Business Leaders within Marketing and our Insights team. The Business Partner drives performance through key value drivers measuring outcomes through KPI’s, metrics and financial performance; looking forward, predicting outcomes of resource allocation and investment decisions underpinning strategic priorities.
Further, the Finance Business Partner analyses and makes decisions in the context of the broader M&E Strategy, balancing and prioritising resources and investments across Broadcast and Streaming designed to optimise the success of the Media & Entertainment Division.
This role collaborates with the broader Finance Community to deliver value to the business, seeking technical and specialist support from the Group Finance Operation, which encompasses the FP&A Centre of Excellence, and the Business Service Centre.
Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Finance partner focused on maximizing ITV’s marketing investment, challenging channel ROIs, and delivering tech-enabled solutions within plan.

Support the implementation of the Insights roadmap, ensuring resource planning, strategic goals, and supplier support are aligned.

Assist in executing the ITVX Premium (SVOD) strategy, driving sustainable growth by challenging priorities.

Support the marketing team in adopting a new operating model, ensuring financial processes and reporting are captured.

Contribute to the customer service strategy for an optimized pan-ITV service.

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, embedding as a key member of the management team.

Monitor macroeconomic and industry trends to assess their impact on business plans.

Review and challenge investment cases and strategic initiatives to ensure benefit delivery.

Drive performance through high-quality analysis and decision support, identifying opportunities for value creation.

Manage costs within the Marketing and Insights function, optimizing the cost base and driving value.

Develop function plans, budgets, and forecasts, exploring scenarios to improve outcomes.

Support the transformation of marketing from a cost-focused to a value-driven team.

Assist the Viewer Experience Finance Director in achieving financial goals and performance KPIs.

Collaborate with the FP&A Centre of Excellence on financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.

A number of years post qualification experience in finance, preferably in a commercial, media, or marketing environment

ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) qualified accountant

Proven track record of managing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting within a large organisation operating in a matrix environment

Hiring range: £70,000 – £90,000
