Job description Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Flexi/Bendi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role involves operating different types of vehicles, including reach, counterbalance and flexi, and requires excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. A background in warehouse operations is highly desirable. Responsibilities * Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport. * Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. * Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods. Experience * Previous experience as a Flexi driver * Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is essential. * Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous but not mandatory. * Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively. * A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type being operated is required. * Mechanical knowledge to assist with minor repairs or maintenance tasks would be beneficial.
