As a Data Platform Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Accelerator business, you are at the core of this venture, focused on delivering innovative solutions to our customers. You possess a curious mindset, thrive in collaborative squads, and are passionate about new technology. You are solution-oriented, commercially savvy, and have an interest in fintech. You enjoy working in tribes and squads focused on specific products and projects, with opportunities to move between them based on your strengths and interests.

Job Responsibilities- Build infrastructure to support financial products at scale.
- Set up the data platform to support application needs, providing modern data services such as ingestion, querying, and governance.
- Utilize open source products when possible and develop custom solutions when necessary.
- Assist teams in identifying their data requirements and leveraging the platform effectively.
- Serve as a point of contact for other teams regarding regulatory and control aspects of data, tailoring solutions accordingly.
- Formal training or certification in problem-solving concepts with practical experience.
- Ability to analyze problems independently and develop solutions.
- Flexibility with tools and languages (e.g., debugging an SSO issue in Python, troubleshooting Java/Kotlin memory issues).
- Knowledge of data structures.
- Experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform.
- Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pulsar, etc.
- Experience in setting up data platforms and establishing standards, beyond just pipelines.
- Experience with distributed data processing frameworks like Spark or Flink.
