As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commodities division, you are an essential member of an agile team focused on developing trusted, market-leading technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. You will drive significant business impact through your expertise and problem-solving skills, addressing diverse challenges across multiple technologies and applications.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide technical guidance and support to the business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
2. Develop, review, and debug secure, high-quality production code.
3. Influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
4. Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more technical areas.
5. Contribute to the engineering community by promoting firmwide frameworks, tools, and SDLC practices.
6. Encourage the adoption of leading-edge technologies among peers and decision-makers.
7. Promote a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience in STP engineering.
• Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Deep knowledge of software applications and technical disciplines such as cloud, AI, ML, mobile, etc.
• Ability to independently resolve design and functionality issues.
• Practical experience with cloud-native development.
• Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
