Overview:
PART-TIME 20 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Assist with therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and departmental policies and procedures.
- Prepare clients/patients for treatment and assist professional staff during procedures.
- Maintain appropriate levels of equipment and supplies for therapy use.
- Support administrative duties such as ordering supplies, billing reconciliation, and maintaining workspaces.
- Clean and sanitize equipment regularly.
- Be productive and efficient in daily operations.
Education:
- High School diploma required.
Certification/Licensure:
- No specific certification or licensure required.
Experience:
- Support clinical and administrative needs within the department.
- Assist with patient safety, especially with patients posing safety risks.
- Provide administrative support including supply ordering and billing reconciliation.

About Sentara Leigh Hospital:
Located in Norfolk, VA, Sentara Leigh Hospital is a 274-bed acute care facility established in 1903 and relocated in 1977. It underwent renovations in 2016, including new patient towers, an atrium, and a multi-story parking garage. The hospital offers specialized orthopedic care, is a recognized Primary Stroke Center, Magnet hospital for nursing excellence, and provides comprehensive services including heart, vascular, maternity, and general surgery. It also features the region\’s only 24-hour hyperbaric oxygen program.
