Hours: 32.50 hours per week, Term Time only plus 5 days
Salary: NJC Grade F SCP19 – SCP24 £31,067 – £34,314 per annum, pro rata

About the Role
Educational Diversity seeks to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and flexible Support Assistant to provide consistent support to our students. We are a split site provision catering for students aged 6 to 16 with emotional, behavioural, social, and/or medical needs. The successful candidate will join a strong, forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering high-quality education for young people who do not attend mainstream provision.
Responsibilities
- Work with some of the most vulnerable and challenging young people in Blackpool who are currently unable to access mainstream school.
- Form and maintain positive relationships with disengaged young people in various settings.
- Support students with emotional, behavioural, social, and medical needs.
- Work hours are 8.30am – 3.10pm, with a slight variation to 4pm on Thursdays.
Qualifications and Experience
It is essential that candidates have experience working with young people with emotional, behavioural, social, and/or medical needs.
