Horder Healthcare is seeking experienced Duty Housekeepers to join our dedicated corporate housekeeping team. This role is vital to maintaining the cleanliness and high standards of our hospitals, patient rooms, and staff areas. As a front-facing position, we welcome warm, motivated, and proactive individuals to our team.
Location: The McIndoe Centre, East Grinstead.
About You:
- You are personal and approachable, motivated to uphold the outstanding reputation of The Horder Centre.
- You have prior housekeeping experience, preferably in a similar environment.
- You possess excellent communication skills to build respectful relationships with colleagues and teams.
- You are proactive, forward-thinking, and eager to learn.
Key Duties:
- Organize and oversee cleaning activities to a high standard.
- Supervise and direct a team of housekeeping assistants, ensuring duties are completed correctly and policies are followed.
- Take responsibility for working on bank holidays when required.
- Avoid taking annual leave simultaneously with the Housekeeping Manager or other Duty Housekeepers.
- Work 1 in 4 weekends.
