Lincolnshire has an excellent opportunity in Children’s Services and is looking to recruit four outstanding Early Years Inclusion Effectiveness Advisers to join a new and exciting team within the Early Years and Childcare Team.
About the Role
The Early Years and Childcare Inclusion Effectiveness Team of advisers will be a dedicated and busy team providing support and challenge to early years and childcare leaders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and effective inclusive practice across Lincolnshire’s early years and childcare settings.
The successful candidates will work in partnership with early years and childcare leaders, professional bodies, and wider stakeholders to strengthen confidence in Lincolnshire’s early years and childcare provision to meet the additional needs of children and young people. They will also support and quality assure Lincolnshire’s SEN Inclusion Fund within host settings.
Advisers are expected to provide leadership, advice, guidance, and challenge to:
- Strengthen early intervention and the graduated approach to help children flourish in mainstream settings, promoting early help assessments where needed.
- Reduce the risk of exclusion and referrals to targeted support.
- Minimize barriers and enhance inclusive practices across the sector.
This role offers the chance to work closely with settings and partner agencies to deliver strategies related to the Start for Life Offer, SEND, and Inclusion.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum Level 4 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or Education (HNC/D, NVQ4, Foundation Degree, Intermediate Diploma).
- Significant post-qualification experience working with families, children, and young people with SEND.
- Ability to work in partnership with setting leaders to improve inclusion and monitor impact.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory duties, and local policies related to SEND and Inclusion.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to drive across Lincolnshire is essential.
