Equans is recruiting for an Apprentice Electrician on our HMCTS contract. You will be based onsite at Bristol Civil Justice Centre. This is a 48 month fixed term contract, working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience, develop your skills, and work towards completing your electrical qualifications.
What will you deliver?
- Actively participating in learning, personal development, and apprenticeship training.
- Assisting with the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems across a variety of properties.
- Developing the ability to interpret design drawings, diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintaining and caring for company tools and equipment.
- Supporting a wide range of operations, including building maintenance, site management, and customer service.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Performing quality checks and contributing to site compliance standards.
- Supporting operational performance and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Managing small project works and contributing to helpdesk operations, including client requests and relationship management.
- Liaising with subcontractors and skilled staff.
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and maintaining compliance documentation.

Who are we looking for?
- GCSEs at Grade A-C including maths and English
- Previous work experience
- A passion for facilities management
- This role includes a BPSS Security check therefore ability to pass is essential.
