This is an EHS Coordinator role based at a large international aerospace manufacturing site close to Whiteley. This is a contract at first for a year, but may well continue. This team is great, it is well established and they work very well together, creating a nice environment.

The Role

This is an EHS Coordinator role where you will work closely with the EHS Team Leader and EHS Manager, addressing various Environmental, Health & Safety and Security issues. This is a particularly busy time and you will provide invaluable help catching up on pre-existing actions closure and conducting regulatory risk assessment work. A selection of the duties include:

  • Assist with catch up on outstanding actions
  • Help with actions that relate to a site move
  • Risk assessments, helping to ensure workplace hazards are managed and the excellent EHS record on site is maintained
  • Work closely with the EHS Team Leader and Manager, taking workload off them to give them time to focus on extra workload due to a site acquisition
  • Lots of COSHH related work

The Ideal Candidate

This role could suit a seasoned EHS person who genuinely works well in a team environment. The team has a high 'care factor' and they would like someone who will blend in with the team, who cares about and is proud of the work they do. It won’t suit someone who 'just wants a job', or treats it like a temp job. The team will create a great environment to work in and hope you will want to stay long term. In terms of qualification, it will be expected that you have NEBOSH or equivalent and general EHS proficiency.

Additional Information

This role will start quickly as a contract and the plan is for you to stay for at least 12 months, hopefully longer. Free parking is provided.
