Function: To assist the Purchasing Team Leader in ensuring smooth, efficient, and timely operation of all daily purchasing activities. To ensure adherence to processes and company procedures, and to liaise with suppliers to deliver high-quality service levels and on-time deliveries. Develop relationships with Avtrade and suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Support the Purchasing Team Leader in delivering high-quality service to customers and internal departments Coordinate daily activities of the Purchasing Team, managing priorities effectively Purchase inventory for stock and specific customer requirements Assist with reviewing and purchasing non-stock items and commercial buys, including standing orders and specific requirements Utilize Avtrade pooling solutions to maintain optimal inventory levels to support business needs Requirements: Experience in an aircraft component, MRO, or trading environment is essential At least 4 years of experience purchasing aircraft component inventory for stock Excellent knowledge of aircraft components, including conditions, certification, and airworthiness regulations Good understanding of IPCs, alternative part numbers, and aircraft effectivity Experience in leading people is beneficial See the full job description in the attachment.
