Job Description:
Looking for experienced Procurement professionals for an exciting opportunity with a world-renowned leader in the FM space. This is a 6-month FTC position.
We are working with a global leader in the Facilities Management sector, seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage all procurement activities for one of their largest central Government clients.
You will act as the procurement representative, supporting the client with strategic sourcing, supplier management, and delivery across major FM, Capital Projects, and Construction spend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement robust contracting to ensure full and compliant contracts with suppliers, working closely with Legal and Supply Chain & Procurement teams.
- Collaborate with operational teams to align scope of works with technical requirements and client expectations.
- Lead the completion of necessary flow-downs for suppliers, ensuring compliance and assurance requirements are met.
- Coordinate between Supply Chain, Procurement Business Partner, Legal, and other stakeholders to keep tasks aligned and on track.
- Maintain supplier assurance requirements, including contractual governance.
- Work efficiently at pace, managing workload effectively.
- Drive Contract Management & Risk Mitigation by securing favorable contractual terms to minimize operational, contractual, and financial risks.
Professional and Personal Qualifications:
- Extensive procurement experience, typically 5+ years, preferably with FM or Construction knowledge; other Indirect categories considered.
- Experience in negotiating and drafting contract clauses.
- Comfortable with negotiations and collaboration.
- Degree qualification preferred.
- Professional certification such as CIPS is advantageous.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrable contracting experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Proven change management capabilities.
- Knowledge of the Public Sector is a plus.
This role is based at our client\’s offices in Surrey, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
