Job Summary:

We seek a HR and Payroll Administrator to support our Payroll Manager, focusing on payroll input and HR administration. The ideal candidate is organized, numerate, proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), accurate, and deadline-oriented. Responsibilities include processing payroll for 700+ employees, managing HR tasks such as family leave, flexible working requests, and absence management.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Payroll Administration:

  • End-to-end payroll processing ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage statutory payments, deductions, and payroll variations.
  • Handle new starters and leavers in payroll systems.
  • Prepare payroll reports, set up BACS payments, and maintain secure records.
  • Respond to staff payroll queries and resolve issues.
  • Administer pension schemes and ensure regulatory compliance.

HR Administration:

  • Manage family leave, flexible working requests, and absence management.
  • Maintain employee records, onboarding, and leaver documentation.
  • Support benefits administration and policy updates.
  • Serve as first point of contact for payroll and HR queries.
  • Assist with pension contributions and liaise with providers.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • At least 2 years of HR and Payroll experience.
  • UK Payroll knowledge or certification (e.g., CIPP).
  • Experience with ADP Payroll and SAP SuccessFactors is highly desirable.
