We are looking for a Residential Childcare expert to effectively drive outstanding quality improvement. As a QIC you will continuously monitor and measure learner and Personal Tutor progress in order to drive improvements. Throughout the whole learner journey, you will provide practical solutions and support Personal Tutors in the delivery of innovative teaching and learning. You will champion regular feedback and continuous improvement methodologies from learners including through Learner Voice.
As a QIC you will:
- Conduct Learner Experience Reviews with your allocated Personal Tutors (PTs).
- Conduct “deep dives” into curriculum areas based around the Education Inspection Framework (EIF) provide feedback and support to drive continuous improvement.
- Improve the quality of teaching through observation feedback, 1-1 support, coaching, CPD sessions and creating a culture of sharing best practice across Personal Tutors and wider business.
- Liaise with Operations Managers to ensure actions from LER and deep dive activities are discussed in individual 1-1s and met by PTs.
- Devise and deliver regular CPD sessions for PTs (and wider business) on topics needed to improve the quality of the learner experience.
- Conduct regular formative and summative sampling of learners’ portfolios with your allocated PTs.
- Plan and conduct regular standardisation meetings to ensure consistency of tutor delivery through LER and deep dive assessment practices.
What we need from you:
- Level 3 Vocational Qualification in area of specialism.
- Teaching Qualification.
- Experience of working within or an in-depth understanding of the apprenticeships/further education sector.
- Experience of using quality improvement principles to positively impact learner experience.
- Proven vocational experience and demonstrable competence in chosen sector.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Education Inspection Framework (EIF) and Ofsted.
- Experience of building strong relationships and helping to develop others to achieve success.
