Executive Officer

Executive Officer Location: Camden Rate: £24 per hour (umbrella) Contract: Full Time Contract (3 Months) Novax Recruitment is actively seeking an Executive Officer in Camden. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours. The job: Take lead responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of the Managing Director / Director of Corporate Services / Programme Director’s daily operations, managing a busy schedule through effective diary management and meeting planning. Provide effective and efficient high level support in the management of correspondence, including inbox management, acting on emails as necessary and deciding on appropriate actions using a high level of judgement. Represent and communicate on behalf of the Managing Director / Director of Corporate Services / Programme Director – internally and externally, maintaining political awareness, sensitivity, confidentiality and discretion. Proactively work with others across the organisation to request information, commission advice as needed and follow through to ensure they are delivered in an appropriate format. The candidate: Previous experience working in a similar role for a local authority is essential. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes. Ability to work under pressure, while maintaining strong attention to detail, and proactively use own initiative to make informed decisions and considered judgements.
