White Horse is exclusively partnering with a PE-backed services business for the recruitment of a Group Financial Accountant. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a market-leading, award-winning company that has built a strong local reputation and is one of the top local employers, with roles rarely available on the market.
This is an ideal opportunity for a technically skilled accountant to take ownership of month-end tasks, monthly reporting, and financial reporting for the Group.
Responsibilities:- Ensure the accuracy of monthly financials in compliance with IFRS, maintaining relationships with external accountants and advisors.
- Oversee compliance with financial reporting, regulatory requirements, and statutory, tax, and regulatory submissions (e.g., VAT, corporation tax).
- Manage and improve the financial control framework, including cash flow forecasting and liaising with external auditors.
- Support compliance, business risk initiatives, and collaborate on tax planning and indirect taxation with the tax team and external advisers.
- Maintain the integrity of the consolidated finance system and provide support to the Finance Director and Financial Controller as needed.
Ideally, you will have an audit background with some exposure to industry, understanding how your skills can transfer to an industry setting. You should be ACCA/ACA qualified with the ambition to grow and develop within one of the best employers in Wiltshire.
