Operations Controller (Transport Controller)
Operations Controller | London | Permanent
Salary: £26,770 – £37,681 (Depending on experience)
Hours: 40 Hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday, anytime between 07:00 and 19:00.

To support our growth, we seek a top-notch Operations Controller to join our London team.
As an Operations Controller, you will manage daily courier resources to maximize efficiency, support the Service Centre Manager, and ensure compliance with customer SLAs and health and safety standards.
The role involves managing resources within the Service Centre, ensuring timely deliveries and collections, and maintaining stakeholder relationships to uphold our reputation.
Main responsibilities include:
- Communicating courteously with courier workload management.
- Monitoring jobs through to POD and completion, prioritizing platinum customers.
- Maintaining Service Level Agreements.
- Updating clients and staff on delays or issues.
- Ensuring fleet size meets client needs, especially during peak times.
- Supporting courier onboarding and compliance.
Key skills required:
- Exceeding customer expectations.
- Initiative and independence.
- Clear communication with clients, couriers, and suppliers.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Transport industry experience.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance.
- Computer literacy.
