Job Title: Project Quantity Surveyor Location: Manchester MCG have teamed up with an amazing organisation. They are part of an extremely large organisation who for as long as we know have undertaken property conversions and specialist new build developments. This team are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor due to growth, with projects coming in thick and fast its an amazing time to join. What’s in it for you: • £60,000 per annum plus package • Local sites • Hybrid working • Contributory pension • Continual investment in professional development Required Skills: • Minimum of HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management. • At least 3 years’ relevant experience within the last 8 years, must include PRS/Apartment project experience. • Fully conversant with Microsoft Word and Excel. • Experience with using COINS is desired. • Full UK driving licence required as this role is both site-and office-based. Your Responsibilities: • Ensure weekly and monthly payments are processed efficiently, any disputed items are resolved, allowing site works to proceed unhindered and give an accurate picture of site financial status. • Produce site valuations and present to the Board of Directors • Liaise with other departments on time to ensure sites run efficiently. • Comply with responsibilities as defined in the Group’s Health, Safety & Environment Policy and ensure compliance with the same throughout the team to promote safety. • Mentoring and training junior members of the team and developing their skills to a sufficient level where they can take on more responsibility. • Aid the Manager when making key business decisions and attend regular regional meetings as the relevant subject expert
