To maintain our exceptional service and technical expertise, we are introducing a dedicated Pre Sales Engineer role, the first of its kind on our team. This position is critical to bridging the gap between our expanding sales efforts and the technical needs of our clients. By delivering expert guidance, tailored demonstrations, and seamless implementation, the Pre Sales Engineer will ensure every client transition to our platform is effortless. This role is pivotal in supporting our rapid growth and solidifying our reputation as a trusted leader in the VDR market.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Pre Sales Engineer to join our team and drive success in the Virtual Data Room (VDR) market. This role bridges the gap between technical expertise and sales acumen, supporting clients through tailored solutions that meet their secure document-sharing and due diligence needs. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for technology and client engagement. This role will also include regular travel to other European offices.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose tailored VDR solutions.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept to potential clients.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer challenges to align VDR capabilities effectively.

Technical Expertise:

  • Stay updated on VDR technologies, market trends, and competitive offerings.
  • Provide technical training to sales teams and clients on VDR functionalities and best practices.
  • Address technical queries and troubleshoot issues during the sales cycle.
  • Manage technical compliance tender documents liaising with the various business functions to ensure completion in a timely manner.

Post-Sales Support:

  • Assist with onboarding new clients, ensuring smooth implementation and integration of VDR systems.
  • Provide feedback to product and development teams to enhance features and address client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions engineering role, preferably in SaaS or VDR markets.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of secure file-sharing platforms, data protection, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales enablement platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, client-friendly language.

  • Experience in M&A, private equity, or financial services industries.
  • Familiarity with API integrations, SSO, and data migration processes.
