This is an outstanding opportunity to work on a brand new, flagship, commercial property in Liverpool Street! You'll receive a generous salary, High Voltage training, all the opportunities and valuable career experience.
As an Electrical Shift Leader, you will be tasked with the planned preventative and reactive maintenance on all mechanical and electrical systems, oversee your shift partner, carry out High Voltage shutdowns, book in subcontractors and report into your Account Manager.
To be successful in the Electrical Shift Leader role, you must be fully qualified in electrical engineering/installations (City and Guilds/NVQ/EAL or equivalent), have at least 5 years experience in commercial maintenance, ability to lead another engineer, a client facing attitude and possess great knowledge of commercial plant systems.
Electrical Shift Leader Duties:- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Organising subcontractors
- Completing logbooks and RAMS
- Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
- Permits to work
- Raise and close jobs on PDAs as necessary.
- Fully qualified in electrical engineering/installations (City and Guilds/NVQ/EAL or equivalent)
- Have at least 5 years experience in commercial maintenance
- Ability to lead another engineer
