As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will be working with a range of private sector clients, with a focus on data centre organisations looking to expand their footprint across the UK and Europe. This role will be client facing, you will prepare and deliver tender processes to clients based on pre-existing procedures/workflows. You will deliver a range of procurement activities on a project, programme and portfolio level depending on the nature of the project work. You will collaborate-across project and cost teams to help identify, deliver and track cost-saving opportunities at varying stages of the project lifecycle.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the data centre industry, and experience delivering on procurement projects within the sector. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong stakeholder management skillset is required to allow you to perform in this role. You should be a self-motivated and independent worker who can manage their own workload effectively and with minimal supervision/guidance. Experience working in a consulting role in the past will be highly advantageous, but is not a pre-requisite for this position.
