The Role: To ensure that all relevant legislation affecting food safety & legality are being followed on all sites, and that all manufacturing sites are always audit ready while driving continuous improvement in our systems and processes. To ensure full implementation of customer codes of practice & manufacturing requirements. To manage the Quality team across all Finnebrogue sites to ensure products are manufactured to high standards to meet or exceed all agreed internal or external specifications. To ensure that the group food safety & quality management system is implemented correctly and maintained, driving continuous improvement. To develop and monitor HACCP and TACCP systems in line with legislative and customer requirements. Work as part of a team to maintain and deliver reductions on company KPIs, such as Customer Complaints, Hygiene, External Audit Performance, and Product Quality. To maintain a robust auditing programme to ensure that teams maintain the highest standards of food safety and product integrity. Build relationships with both suppliers & customers and be a point of contact regarding technical matters affecting product safety, legality & quality. Lead customer & regulatory visits and audits, maintaining green status across the business. Liaise with the NPD and Process team to ensure products & processes are developed/launched & optimised, incorporating “Best Manufacturing Principles.” Work collaboratively with all departments to continuously drive improvements in standards to meet the aim of ‘being the best it can be.'
